Walkin’ the Hood–Becky’s Lines and Squares Challenge Oct. 8

Photo: V. Slotto
After walking the dogs this morning, I spent most of the day in the garden, preparing for a severe freeze predicted for tonight. Ergo, the late post today for Becky’s Squares and Lines Challenge Oct.6. I have no idea what this plant is. Anyone?
I like the contrast of straight and curved lines.
Linking as well to Cee’s FOTD Challenge.

I’d say without a doubt it’s ivy. Are those flowers swarmed by drone-bees? I’ve many a photo of the flowers. Though I do notice the leave, just visible of more elongate than I’m used to seeing, but that doesn’t mean a thing. I have seen them like that.

The leaves do look like Ivy, but I ‘ve never seen them flower like this and I’ve been around ivy most of my life.

I’ve quite a few photos of ivy in flower like this. I recognised it at once.

No doubt, there are many forms of ivy. I appreciate your feedback, Crispina. Can’t wait to study it on my next walk.
